Emma block has taught sell out watercolour and gouache workshops in London for the last five years. She has also written the best selling book, the Joy of Watercolour, with further titles due for publication of this summer. She works as freelance illustrator, as well as a workshop tutor and author. Her style is fresh and modern and her teaching style friendly and accessible.

Hi, I’m Emma Block
I'm a multidisciplinary illustrator living in London, working across editorial illustration, publishing, packaging and branding. My first book, The Joy of Watercolour was published in summer 2018, and I am currently working on new books.
My work is inspired by the people I meet in my everyday life, old photos, vintage clothes, old films, travel, 1950s illustration, 1930s jazz and sausage dogs.
